Elise Hanson

For 17 years, Elise Hanson has worked as a District Elementary School Counselor for the North Sanpete School District, and serves 5 elementary schools. Prior to that she was a High School counselor, 6th grade middle school teacher, preschool teacher and a special education assistant.
Elise has the following certifications and educational degrees:
- AS Elementary Education, Snow College
- BS Elementary Education & Early Childhood Endorsement, Southern Utah University
- MS Psychology, Emphasis in School Counseling, Utah State University
- Choice Theory/Reality Therapy
- Nedley Depression & Anxiety Recovery Program Associate Director

Elise is also a wife and mother and has 4 children and 10 grandchildren. She wrote, "Making Responsible Choices, Choice Theory Made Easy" and has been a longtime member of USCA and ASCA. She loves to run, ski, read, and garden. She also co-produces "Wellness Wednesday" weekly videoes.
